Fiesta
Always keen to encourage string quartet playing at school, I was not going to let a lack of viola players stop me introduce the idea to Bromsgrove Preparatory School in 2005. The solution was to write for 2 violins and 2 cellos, and the four young girls did a fine job – especially with the Barcarolle.
